Alexandria

Alexandria is located on the north coast of Egypt and known as the Bride of the Mediterranean Sea.

It is very famous for its beautiful beaches, Royal Gardens and Roman and Greek museums.

The city is undergoing a revival as its historic buildings are being restored and archaeologists are still uncovering many hidden treasures.

There are wonderful bars and cafes here for excellent coffee and chilled beer. Also a specialty is grilled fish in the open street cafes.

For something a bit spooky and different spend some time in the catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa.
